Really awesome concept, sound design and art! I agree with the others about the maze design, it is very confusing and I wasn't able to get through it. The blood stains seem to be randomly placed instead of assisting you through the maze, so maybe that could be a simple solution to the problem? Still, very solid game, good job!

Thanks for the feedback! I understand the maze is confusing and the panic from being chased didn't help things, which is why I lessened the aggressiveness and speed of the enemy in v1.1. As for the blood on the floor: it's only placed on the correct trail on the ground, so maybe there is confusion in another part of the maze? Which part of the maze do you have the most problem in?

Really nice work on creating a scary vibe. The sound effects were really well implemented. Great stuff!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :D

Nice horror game! A little to difficult for me (especially with the monster speed and me been an adventure game fan ;-) ) but still a very nice nice effort! I really loved the sound/music. They really added to the horror atmosphere!

Thank you, I'm happy you liked it! The sound and music were really a blessing, we're pretty proud of it. As for the difficulty, will definitely adjust in the future!

I didn't find my way through the maze (The speed of the monster combined with all the dead ends made things a bit difficult for me even after several tries) but I liked how you did the horror aspect -- much scarier than my take. The ambient noises like the sticks cracking and stuff was pretty cool. I liked how you made it so you can only see obstructions with the light, made things more difficult than a typical maze.

I did try to go south on the first screen, probably should have blocked it off with trees or something similar.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, we were having difficulty balancing the game. We were playing it multiple times and couldn't tell what was easy and what was hard anymore!

Regarding the ambient noises, I was lucky to get two teammates who worked extensively on the music and sfx, so we managed to work on a horror game which relies heavily on sound.

I agree with your comment on the first screen. In retrospect, maybe we should've used a way to block movement to the south.

Once again, thanks for your thoughts on the game!
